The Center for Family Support has been working with Benjamin and his family in our Self-Directed Services program since 2014.
“The skills and compassion of the CFS staff are unparalleled,” says Maxine, Benjamin’s mother. “Thanks to their unwavering support, we have had the freedom to hire a variety of people to support Ben and guide him as he explores his many interests, and, most importantly, develops the ‘life skills’ that are so crucial for his future success and happiness.”
One person Maxine hired was a filmmaker, Orlando Vasquez, who worked with Ben to create a video to help him develop his self-awareness. Maxine and Ben are sharing the video with you, in hopes it will act as an inspiration to garner support for the organization that has made such a significant difference in their lives.
