Meaningful Work as an Advocate
Although CFS has different programs, positions, and opportunities, many of our staff start with us as Direct Support Professionals, or DSPs. DSPs assist individuals with developmental disabilities to improve their quality of life, fulfill dreams and reach their goals. They serve as strong advocates for individuals, encourage them to communicate their wants and needs, and support their integration into their communities and neighborhoods.
DSPs also provide companionship and support needed for individuals to live healthy, safe, and meaningful lives. Many CFS staff stay with the organization for decades, enjoying growth opportunities, great benefits, and commitment from their supervisors and organizational leadership.
