Why Attend

This special event will bring together CFS partners and community members for a focused conversation about where we are—and where we’re going. Guests will gain a clearer understanding of CFS programs, current funding gaps, and our strategic vision, while hearing recent highlights and learning about the innovative initiatives we plan to explore.

Welcoming government partners, donors, foundations, families, board members, and friends of CFS, the gathering will create space to connect directly with our staff, strengthen relationships, and engage more deeply in the work ahead—so that we can expand what’s possible for the people and families we support.

Together, we will:

  • Discover what makes CFS a leader in the I/DD field
  • Learn about funding challenges and strategic opportunities
  • Hear real stories of impact from individuals & families
  • See our technology & accessibility innovations in action
  • Meet program leaders, advocates, and self-advocates shaping the future
  • Connect with partners who believe in person-centered support

Poster House will also have two exhibits to explore: Act Black: Posters from Black American Stage and Screen; and Love & Fury: New York’s Fight Against AIDS. If you’ve never been to Poster House, you’re in for a treat.

Priorities & Partnership Opportunities

CFS has a deep understanding of the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, and we are actively addressing both the challenges they face today and the long-term needs ahead. Many of the most pressing barriers to inclusion, independence, and quality of life can only be overcome through strong partnerships with our community, funders, and allies.

Together, we are focusing on several critical priorities that will shape the future of our work, including:

  • Supporting aging participants & families
  • Aging in Place
  • Developing Expanded Housing Support
  • New Jersey Program Investment
  • Advocacy & Community Integration
  • Employment & Workforce Development
