Ways to Make a Gift
The Center for Family Support Foundation
Donations to the Center for Family Support Foundation help make dreams realities for the one thousand individuals with development or other disabilities supported by CFS. Gifts from community members and partners help deliver an individualized, person-centered approach to each of the people we support, and their families, by making possible special services and programs. It’s easy to make a difference!
Donate Today
Make a gift online on our secure website, or print out our gift form and send a check to CFS in the mail. Both online and in the mail, you can make your gift in honor of a special CFS employee who has impacted the life of someone we support, or make a memorial gift in memory of a deceased loved one. You can also direct support to CFS from your donor advised fund or IRA by contacting your custodian.

Support an event
CFS holds an annual Golf Outing each spring, and an Awards Dinner in the fall. All funds raised benefit the Center for Family Support Foundation’s mission to support the incredible programs and services of the organization.
Estate Gifts
You may wish to continue supporting CFS after you are unable to do so or structure a tax-wise gift. You can include CFS in your will or leave the organization as a beneficiary of your life insurance, IRA, trust, or other retirement plan. Please contact Ted Traver (ttraver@cfsny.org or 212-629-7939 ext. 279) for questions on how your gift can help those supported by CFS in future generations, and potentially create tax benefits for you and your family.
Here is sample language you can review with your lawyer to include CFS in your will: “I give, devise and bequeath to The Center for Family Support Foundation, with offices at 333 7th Avenue, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10001 and federal tax ID 45-0824358, or its successors in interest, the sum of $________ (or _____% of my residuary estate) to be used for its general purposes at the sole discretion of its trustees.”
