Memberships and Associations

The Center for Family Support is a a leader among organizations that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both New York in New Jersey. We are dedicated to working with others in the I/DD space to ensure we effectively advocating for those we support and our staff. By partnering other organizations, we can also ensure we have the most progressive and up-to-date policies to advance our mission.

The Center for Family Support is honored to participate in the following associations and member agencies:

The Alliance for the Betterment of Citizens with Disabilities: CFS is a member of ABCD, a leading trade association of certified, licensed and contracted Early Intervention and Developmental Disabilities community providers in NJ.

ANCOR: A Community of Providers for People with Disabilities

Inter Agency Council: IAC’s over 155 member organizations are New York’s leading providers of support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. IAC is proud to champion them in shaping a world where neurodiversity is not only tolerated but valued.

New York Alliance for Inclusion & Innovation: NYAICC’s mission is to be the leading resource for organizations, the individuals and families they support and serve as a catalyst for positive system change and innovation.

New York Industries for the Disabled: NYSID’s highest priorities are meeting procurement needs and creating meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities. When individuals with disabilities earn a living and spend those earnings where they live, they contribute to stronger communities and economies.

Nonprofit New York: A thriving community of extraordinary nonprofits. Engaging over 4,000 nonprofit organizations each year and building a powerful nonprofit community for 25 years.
