Location: Starts at Washington Square Park and Ends at Union Square Park
Join us to honor the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act with a powerful march and celebration led by and for people with disabilities. The event kicks off with a 20-minute rally, followed by a march up University Place and a Block Party in Union Square Park from 12–3 PM.
This event is organized by disability activists and endorsed by Rise and Resist/Elevator Action Group, War Resisters League, and others. We’re building a strong coalition to celebrate, affirm rights, and stand against ongoing attacks on the disability community.
