DESCRIPTION:Join the Regional Centers for Workforce Transformation for this
  free workshop! Shelbi Davenport. was blessed with\nbeing told “NO” ea
 rly on in her education. Doctors\, counselors\, and well-meaning teachers 
 set the stage for Shelbi to overcome any obstacle in her path. Due to that
  simple word\, Shelbi was determined to become who she dreamed of being\, 
 and fight to fulfill those dreams. After many struggles and victories\, Sh
 elbi graduated from Texas A&amp\;M University. Her degree is University St
 udies with an emphasis in Ag Leadership. Shelbi also minored in Communicat
 ion and Youth Development.\n\nSince graduating\, Shelbi's leadership skill
 s have been used in many areas and opportunities are arising right before 
 her eyes. Her first full time employment was one of those areas. Shelbi wa
 s hired as a Program Assistant for the HOPS (Horticulture Options in Plant
  Sciences) Program. HOPS is a one-year certification program that allows a
 dults with disabilities the opportunity to be trained\, educated and emplo
 yed in the horticulture industry. Another major opportunity was when she d
 ebuted my very own “Shelbi Show” in early May 2022. This show is a dre
 am of hers\, to be able to provide encouragement\, support and hope to any
  and every one that faces difficulties. As the show continues\, Shelbi wil
 l share her story\, as well others. Shelbi will also be interviewing and s
 howcasing people from all over the nation that are involved in supporting 
 and advocating for those with lived experiences.
