DESCRIPTION:Self-Advocates\, do you feel like you’re tired of sharing the
  same information to new service provider(s)? Do you think sometimes your 
 advocates/parents/guardians are not painting the right picture of you? Joi
 n Linda &amp\; Tucker’s webinar all about One-Page Profiles! This semina
 r will be showing you\, the self-advocate\, the benefits of developing a o
 ne-page profile that is a brief overview of “What is important to you”
  and “How you can/need to be supported.”\n\nThis tool can be used to i
 ntroduce a person in different settings (at school\, to OPWDD-funded profe
 ssionals\, to therapists\, to work\, etc) and creates a person-centered fo
 undation for supporting a person’s needs by the family\, a caregiver\, o
 r any kind of situation.\n\nTheory will be followed by practice: Linda and
  Tucker will offer a “hands-on” activity to start developing these one
 -page profiles!\n\nThere will be two sessions - this is for the 5pm course
  on 4/20.
