DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the 2026 SANYS NYC-Westchester Re
 gional Conference\, taking place on August 28\, 2026. This year's theme\,
  "We Fight For Our Rights\," celebrates the power of self-advocacy\, l
 eadership\, and the continued pursuit of equality for people with intellec
 tual and developmental disabilities. \n\nThe conference will bring togeth
 er self-advocates\, families\, professionals\, and community partners for 
 a day of engaging workshops\, networking opportunities\, and meaningful di
 scussions focused on empowering individuals to advocate for their rights a
 nd strengthen their voices within their communities. \n\nRegistration is 
 open through Friday\, July 31\, and space is limited. Those interested ar
